nniurs As graduates of the Class of 1967, we leave M.C.H.S. with mixed emotions, happiness in that we have finally completed our high school education, sadness that lifelong friendships must part and familiar surroundings must be changed, anxiety for a.n uncertain future, and heartfelt gratitude to our teachers, parents, and others who have shown us guidance a.nd understanding and have borne the finan- cial burden of our education. We have a keen awareness that the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is our most precious heritage and that since this has been bought with the blood of our ancestors we must not hold it lightly or permit it to slip away. The world into which we are going is one of great accomplishment, awesome knowledge, and con- fusing obligations. May we be guided wisely as we choose the way we may best serve our generation.
