Any program of development must be well rounded in order to be successful. If a person uses one set of muscles excessively in play or in work he finds that they become overde- veloped at the expense of the others. So it is with a school. While we here at Marlboro High School are much concerned with main- taining a high standard of scholarship we do not neglect the other phases of development. The pages which follow are filled with evi- dence of our students interests in athletics dramatics speech work music journalism social activities and class and club work as well as an interest in scholarship honors. The students and faculty of Marlboro High School will always be grateful to the Scenario staff for the fine manner in which they have re- corded the events of 1947-1948 so that they will remain cherished memories to us in the years ahead fre Skoppefa CII atltude There IS an lnsufficient supply of the proper words to expre s our apprecia tion to those who have guided and shown never ceasing interest in us and our affairs and at the same time have been constant friends We are deeply in debted to our instructors and only hope that we will be able to make them proud of us in the future Board of Education It IS the practice of the board to meet the first Monday of each month to dis cuss the needs and problems of maintaining cr satisfactory and efficient school system in the township We wish to extend our gratitude to the Board of Education for the services they render to the community Front Row Ivan Steffy I K Bryan Carl Swertzer Back How Clyde Hoff Arthur Montgomery E H Rohrer 5 ,.
