Everyone enjoyed these meetings because of the variety of music learned. The first and greater part of the time was spent in learning different kinds of class- ical music and the latter part in singing popular numbers. In February the girls sang several numbers for the Farmers Institute and later in May, participated in the annual Music Festival held in Canton. Due to their nntiring efforts they did a great pant in making the operetta a success. oooooogeeooqgg oooooeooQgoeqqoooQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQoooooeoooooeoo Twentyffonr r-C----A--a-M A--- A- ---- -A----A ----- -- .------ ---- - ...... - U-------------- U 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 U 11 '1 1 1, 11 U I 11 11 11 11 0 11 1 U U H U 11 I1 11 11 U 11 11 11 U I1 11 0 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 1 1 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 U 11 11 U U 11 11 U H U 11 11 11 11 11 U 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 U U U 1 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 U 11 11 L- Boys , Glee Club TOP ROW, Left to righi: Vern Phillips. pizmlstg Ralph Grzxcning, Fred McCloskey, Bennet Hzilin, Miss Emery. 'lhis club was organized just before basketball season. The purpose of the Booster Club is to create a spirit of clean sportsmanship in regard to atlilsties and to give support to the football and basketball teams. Athletic teams need supportg and it is up to the Ilooster Club to really boast and get behind the team. How much the teams owe to this organization for the moral support which is given them during the games is hardly realized. This was the first year for a 'Booster Club at Marlboro High School and we feel that it has been abig success. We hope that it will be continued next year with an iiiorvzrs- ed membership.
