Home- making education is designed to help girls gain some homemaking skills and an under- standing of human relationships which will help them to achieve more satisfying home living in their families today, and later as they marry. The field of commerce diffe r e d from the regular curriculum and seemed like a com- pletely different world. All students, some time during their life, seek employment. Pupils enrolledin the business curriculum trained for specific office jobs in which they could use skills of shorthand and typing.
