Whether we are counting minutes left in the day or the amount of money we need for the week- end, we cannot escape using math in our day to day life. To meet the challenges that are set be- fore us to solve, we seem to come across again and again the basic math we learn from the very beginning. For those showing special ability and inter- est, M. Our mathematics department here at Markle- ville, is headed by two very capable teachers-- Miss Birkinbine and Mr. Markle. These two per- sons have done much to further the interest in math and better the students here at Markleville. 441' ir. The fundamentals of math seem fascinating to Debbie Stohler.
