This year, our math depart- ment was fortunate enough to re- ceive a new math lab complete with the newest accessories. Mrs. Penney could be seen running up and down the halls looking for trigtrackers , projector screens , or other items not yet installed. New equipment did not stop Mrs. Penney's collection of projects, thoughg she still has more theorems to prove and models to make for parabolas, polygons, and tangent spheres . The interest and work in chem- istry, physics , and biology was displayed in another school-wide science fair. The purpose of the fair was to encourage competition and individual work. Awards were given in each field of the fair which was divided into Jr. and Sr. High competition. The entries were judged by qualified teachers from other schools and based on originality, time spent in actual work, and what the student learned from his project. unexplored fields Everett Tucker seems to be engrossed in his work as Coach Miller looks on, Faucett, David Math Arkansas Stare Teachers College B, S, E, Penney, Mrs. Ned Math Arkansas State College B.A. Shaver, Mrs, C,L, Math Arkansas Stare College B.
