Mrs. Pierce has been a member of the Marked Tree High School Faculty for twenty- seven years - years that have been filled with service to school and community, de- votion for dramatics, and love for her children . Her most noted addition to the school for the past twenty-seven years has been the annual Drama Festival, which is the only one of its kind in the nation. It has afforded pleasure to both the participants and the spectators. In 1955 Mrs. Pierce organized the first Arkansas Thespian State Festival. With these words, we, the Pow-Wow Staff, would like to express our appreciation to the great connoisseur of Dramatic Arts, Marie Thost Pierce. May God Bless Her. The Costuming is essential. Mrs. Pierce helps our students with their pro- blems with the Festivel. Page 84 T ,K-3?'?waf'i-ME' ELi'?ygil'f?f FYI A5 fLQ,KiiJjfCr,:fX-fikrig fwiii-5' Qi 1 M. Aw 1 f ,,wfrfwfAm,A.
