Homecoming 1984 — the Gome The Homecoming football game was most exciting. It was; the first time that the Aztecs took first place in the Mission i Valley League since Keppel joined it, Holftime started off with a bong. Fireworks cluttered the night sky above Aztec field. It was a most spectacular scene. The fireworks dazzled and amazed all. That ' s what they were cheering at this year ' s Powder Puft game held dowri on the Aztec Field, November 8, at 7-30 p.m. As always, the traditional football game was held for the announcing of the new 1984-85 Mr. Aztec. Congratulations Lawrence Morales!! Many more people than expected showed up. It was a lot of fun watching some of the senior and junior girls battle it out on the field cheered on by some cute senior and junior boy cheerleaders. The only mishap was when Ziado Zapata fell and suffered a pulled leg muscle Everyone held his breath as she was helped off the field for doctor ' s care. The game must go on and it did. Ziada went on to see her senior class win from the sidelines 33 to 0. Way to go SENIORS!!! PS. . . Our Moment of Truth The Homecoming dance was just great. Lots and lots of people stiowed up. Even though the line to get in was long, most claimed it was well worth it because Time- Warp played some righteous sounds. Seeing all those who had graduated some years before brought back memories of the past. For the alumni, it brought back many wonderful thoughts of Mark Keppel The dance started out 10 p,m, and ended at midnight. Although it was only two hours long, it did seem as if everyone had a radical time, ABOVE LEFT Gef-down — People do have fun at Keppel ' s dances!
