Moment of Truth Homecoming festivities brought a lot of fun and excitement during Homecoming Week, Tliere were various activities that went on during the week. First there was the balloon shaving contest which took place on Wednesday, November 7 at the lunch courts. The point of the gome was to put shaving cream oil around the balloon and to shave the bal- loon without popping it The following day, November 8, was the Home- coming Festival which took place at the basketball courts. There were various booths selling different kinds of foods ranging from spaghetti to hot dogs to baked goods. Other booths were selling drinks, and some were selling confetti eggs and balloons During the same day, there were activities taking place on the upper field. First, there was the Bucket Brigade, The game was played with different clubs going against each other. The goal was to fill the wastebasket with water by passing the bucket to each other over the head end between the legs. This may sound easy, but the bucket had a hole in the middle of it The other activity that was held that day was Simon Says, Then, there was the annual pep rally held at the big gym before the big Home- coming game on November 9, Homecoming Week was exciting for all of us at Keppel, It gave us a chance to have fun and enjoy the fun that Homecoming week had brought us, FILMSTRIP BELOW FOODI — Crowd gathers at food booths durihg Homecoming festival Watchful walling — Mr Horst waits anxiously to get his tickets Don ' t drop It! — Kiowa shows their stuff In the Bucket Brigade Pep Rally TImel — Spectators watch with enthusiasm as Song struts on the floor 14 Festival Homecoming
