It was the best ever! commented one Keppel Senior. Students, alumni, friends, and par- ents began to fill the stands a half hour prior to kick-off in order to watch the 1984 Homecoming Court be driven in style around the field and be escorted by their fathers to their seats. Halftime began with tunes played by the infamous MK band as the five Princesses were driven around the field once more. Each Princess was then escorted by her father down the center of the field while fountains of fireworks shot off on each side of them. The Moment of Truth came when Sharon Hatae was announced Homecoming Queen for 1984. A two- minute display of beautiful skyrock- ets lit up the field while Sharon ' s name was spelled out in fireworks! ABOVE: The Moment of Trufhl — Sharon Hatae crowned queen.
