RUP gives students cz head start izwi VW 5 MK A student checks the openings in the local area. Steve Nlinikel, master artisan, puts a fresh coat on. Right-Bill lVloro, George Fountain and Louie Bustamante review their choices. Many students found a challenge and springboard to employment in the form of an ROP class. The ROP coordinator, Art Langdon, said that ROP classes held value for several reasons. One of them was that college-bound students could get a taste of many professions, thus narrowing their choices in career and study. Another advantage of the classes were the many employment opportunities. Classes in nursing, paramedics, and auto mechanics gave a potential employee a delinite advantage over the average person new in the job market. The school provided transportation to many of the classes that were offered at locations in the area and in the school district. 22fStudent Life lllilliisasifsef ' , with A . .
