Miss Arzt and Mr. Kemp fuse student activities and problems into a practical pattern. The Girls' Vice Principal, Miss Marion Arzt, has been working with Mark Keppel students since the school was opened in 1940. Miss Arzt was a teacher in the Science-Math Department until 1949, when she was appointed to her present position. The Girls' Vice Principal executes a tremendous agenda of responsibilities and ac- tivities, all of which are essential to the suc- cessful fulfillment of her iob. As sponsor of the Girls' League, coordinator of campus organiza- tions, supervisor ot student standards, and per- sonal advisor to all girl students, Miss Arzt has become a respected and trusted administrative leader. She is an outstanding asset to her post and to the school. Mr. Kemp is a popular and important person- ality among both students and faculty members. He has served as Boys' Vice Principal since 1955, and has shouldered' the accompanying respon- sibilities with the immense vitality which is unique to his character. Mr. Kemp is a church and community leader as well as the advisor to the Student Body cabinet, Boys' Federation spon- sor, and director of citizenship problems. ln ad- dition, he triggers and renews the fire and spirit needed for valuable extra-curricular ac- tivities.
