Memories to savor for a lifetime. For, the Marist team of Dean Hargis won perhaps the game of the year in Georgia when Marist toppled previously unbeaten Gordon, 35-34, last week at Pan- thers ville Stadium. It was as if it was out of a story-book, with the characters olaved bv local wire. When you win with one second left, that ' s pretty much down to the wire. It was a game where you had to do everything right or you ' d be out of it, Hargis continued. I ' m just proud we did the things right that brought us back in the game and eventually gave us the opportunity to win. Hargis said some serious defensive adjustments at halftime enabled his team to climb its way back into the contest. It is these three aspects of Marist to which we dedicate this book: the history it has given us, the friends we gain in its halls and the hopes it gives us for the future. . --- — - •■■192 l--u ■i ' m ' ' ' ' y ' ■' • ' J- ' : I !: II Li 1 193 194 As the year draws to a close, each student prepares to leave Marist behind him Some just for the summer, others for indefinite periods of time. Each student takes with him something different, more than facts; he takes experiences, friendships and knowledge. In concluding this book, we the Guidon staff, would like to salute the people and events of Marist over this past year. 195 196 197 198 (•HPflW °, 1tk m , - 199 SENIOR INDEX AARON, HENRY: Football 9,10,11,12; Basketball 10,11,12; Science Club 12.
