The Diary Of Anne Frank The second play produced this year differed greatly from the mood of the first. The Diary of Anne Frank, while it has its moments of gaiety is more of a study of the human organisms emotions than anything else. The story of a young girl's life as it is affected by the Second World War is a touching yet chilling tale. Confined for most of the duration in a small attic, the two families and IVlr. Dussel, played by Chris Beveridge, are constantly trying to bring a little peace into their portion of the world which knows no peace. Anne Frank CSue Swaggerty? and Peter ClVlattVVheIenD are constantly at each others throats, yet they have developed a great affection for each other by the final suspensful scene where the SS officers take them away.
