TUDENT LIFE The year 1978 at Marist High School. lt was a year of things as widely diverse as a championship in basketball and a championship in Hi-Q. 1978 will live on in the memories of students as the year the juniors won Spirit Week, the year of the first lVlarist Gong Show, the year of more people being involved in a wider variety of things than ever before in the history of the school. lt was a good year for athletics, all the teams did well however, the emphasis is not as much on physical developmentas on the spiritual. Marist of- fers the best in a Christian education anywhere in the area. The year 1978 was indeed an excellent year in this aspect. ln April we hosted a Youth Rally for over 300 people from every walk of life. There were dances, pep assem- blies, and the turnout was enormous for all of these. lt was a good year. we
