LL THE WORLD'Q A STAGE The 1977-78 Marist Drama Club season proved quite exciting and full of changes. lt saw Bro. Kevin McArdle's first year as Drama Director with the assistance of Mrs. Bonnie Littleton. This year's fall play, EGAD, THE WOMAN IN WHITE, was unique. For the first time in years, a major production was presented - our first melodrama. Starring in this smashing success were veteran actors Tim Howe, Maureen Glynn, Paul Vonder Heide, Mari Heavey, and Jane Lester, also newcomers Maureen Hughes, Bernie Byan, Dawn Kapple, Danny Wyrobek, and Tom Farley. The one-act plays were also different this year. For the first time, all plays were to be original, student-written works. This added a new dimension to student involvement in the one-acts. As winter turned to spring, drama turned to music with THE BOAR OF THE GBEASEPAlNTg THE SMELL OF THE CROWD, starring Jeff Zuiker, Dean Miller, E. J. Flessor, Elly Leahy, and Maureen O'Connell and sixteen other talented people. ln closing the season, the drama club says good-bye to Jeff Zuiker, Pres., Nick Kokoris, Vice-Pres., Vince Laughlin, and Treas. Tim Howe. Also, thanks to McAuley seniors Maureen Glynn and Marybeth Brennan for four years of help, support ant talent. 'Q 'Q 'UN

ust the Wag You Are X .. W Q RJ ff, 2 .1144 For the first time in two years a Sophomore dance was held at Marist High School and the class of '80 clearly showed what can be accomplished through hard work and dedication. On April 29, 1978, the dance gave all Sophomores and their dates a chance to have a good time that was just a little bit out of the ordinary. The couples started arriving at 7:30 and when Redwind began to play, the dance floor erupted and the spirit of the evening came to life! The theme, Just the Way You Are, suggested and confirmed the spirit present in the class of '80 which is the real reason why it was a night to remember. ...f . 'av I .4
