Long and Winding Road Senior Prom. . .the last big ritual of high school and the beginning of the Long and Winding Road! ln six hours the seniors were left with a life time of memories ranging from reception lines to pictures and from slow dancing to the music of Rocket and Fortune to breakfast afterwards. Boundless memories can be found when thinking back on the night of May 5th and back on the four years at Marist . . .all the friendships and good times. . .the ups and downs but mostly the memories. Our hats are off to all who made the Prom, our last memory, a good one. The efforts of Brother Frank and the committee were evident. 'mt--Q

The highlight of the team's season at this writing was its second consecutive team district championship in state competition qual- ifying all members of the district team for the state finals. Captain Greg Temofeew lead the Redskins with his second consecutive district singles championship. Junior Rick Burgess and Sopho- more Jeff Schuetz combined their talents at first doubles to take second place. Our second singles player, Rich Temofeew, and our second doubles team of Dave Kaiser and Al George won their opening matches to win three important points toward our team championship. The team is hoping to better its state ranking of last as a team C13thD under the leadership of Greg Temofeew who finished last year in the state's top 20 singles players. Aside from victories and defeats and rankings, the team reflected the spirit and friendship of the Marist tradition at its best, and we thank the Lord for the victories that satisfied and excited us, and defeats that caused us to examine ourselves and to grow. .x-' .v.t s I ' FQ? .- f F.. , L 1 'Q 1 , .
