IT WAS MAGIC The Junior Dinner Dance was held on April 22 at the Orland Chateau. Over 130 couples attended the dance, which was organized with the help of homeroom representatives and supervised by Bro. Dan Grogan and Bro. Larry Lavallee. Prime rib dinner was served at 9 o'clockg the music and dancing started at 10. When the juniors arrived at the dance, their dates were showered with gifts ranging from stuffed animals to miniature class rings. Music was provided by Finger, and the theme song was Could it be Magic by Barry Manilow. His record for four years was: 30-11-2. Senior David Piech was next with a three-year record of: 22-9-1. Dennis ConnoIIy's two-year record was: 18-9-2. Senior Jim Keane and Junior Len Surdyk rounded out the team. The president of the club, Senior Joe Conlan, was in- valuable in his organization of the CIub's activities, which included faculty-student matches, a trip to Old Chicago, a Mass, a pizza get-together and open gym. He was also responsible for convincing Brother lazzetti that the club needed major and minor letters. Sister Rene' moderated the club.
