A TASTE OF CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL was The Freshman and Sophomore football teams won their Conference Championships in the 1976-77 season. Their teams didn't capture the titles without a fight, however. With each shrill whistleand cloud of dust, the strength and skills of the teams increased. They found that all of the pains of practice paid off when each of their games prov- ed to be hard fought battles. The glory of the crown title is shared by every member of the teams, and so are the memories of how it was achieved. 'R 519-1
