To lay rock on terra firma is to put it on its foundation. It moves not and troubles not its neighbors for it is inanimate. To lay a house on terra firma is to put it on its foundation. It moves not and troubles not its neighbors for it is inanimate. To lay a person on terra firma is to put him on his foundation. He moves in many plains and troubles its neighbors for it is animate. Traversing his many plains in directions dictated by self envisioned goals and extra-envisioned motives created by the collective Will, gathered for the preservation of the collective people, he finds itself impinging trails. Conflict may and can result. As the foundation for the rock is firm, so man can achieve equal staying power on a foundation strong enough to support him. So assured and posi- tioned he can progress. Such foundations are brighter than color, stronger than any conflictg for their design is perfection. It finds its strength in reality. Reality which is the product of manis strength in individual stature and depth of ubiquitous un- derstanding, and marked by a pervasive search for a reality created of truth and the courage to ascend, in respectful dignity, above the individual, in its quest. Democracy functions at the behest of its individual members and so being it Will mirror them. The greatness of the individual is achieved in its direction toward the good of all, and being less so shall the image be less. Ink-inscribed parchment, indented cut rock and vaulted ceiling rooms are not strength. Strength in a democracy, is in the minds and souls of the people who move in the pale of light cast by their beings. The reality is then, for each to find-for the eloquence of all.

It has been Written: the World of tomorrow belongs to the youth of today. And we stop there. Rather, would it not be well to Writeg the World of tomorrow be longs to the youth of today and that World will be what that youth is today?

Q To find reality we must look. As we look we must learn. As we learn so we will find. Caution: sight is deceptive, colored and interpreted so learning is not always truth. For those for whom learning is reality let us learn to learn the Truth. '45 l
