SO TIRED The present Senior class began their rather backward Freshman year at M T H S by honormg National Cxtxzenshup Week under the dlrectlon of their sponsor Mr Edwards The officers for the year were appointed as follows president Stanley Lehr vice president Donald Gegel and secretary treas urer joe Barker The following had the honor of serving at the Prom Betty Sinn Evelyn Laumbattus Patsy Albert Stanley Lehr john Lxndsey and Raymond Ktlman The officers elected for the Sophomore year were presxdent Donald Gegt vice president Stanley Lehr and secretary treasurer Evelyn Laumbattus Mr Meyer was the sponsor Two of the class Raymond Kllman and Patsy Albert were chosen cheerleaders Of the boys out for basketball Stanley Lehr and Donald jackson played on the varsity team and Donald Gegel Freddle Muehlhauser and Paul McNary were promtsnng players The student council representatives were Patsy Albert Lorene Lehman Ralph Schxckedanz and john Lindsey The class durxng their third year took an active part in the carnival by operating a popcorn stand and dance and they proudly entered Darlene Fulton as candidate for queen The same officers as the last year were elected The class lost the magazine contest to the Semors after much hard work and consequently entertained them with a hobo party Under the dlrectxon of Mr and Mrs Illmgworth they presented the play just Ducky on December 19 l 47 On May 14 the class gave the jumor Senior Banquet Prom m the gym the first of xts kind in years The theme of the prom was a mght club and Leo Matysnk furnished the music The class began their Senxor year with Donald Gegel as president Don jackson vlce president Lorene Lehman secretary and Evelyn Laumbattus treasurer The sponsors were Mr Boyd and Mrs Drckey The class lost the magazine contest again and entertamed the jumors with a party Stanley Lehr Donald jackson Donald Gegel and joe Hewttt represented the class on the varsmty team Violet Khoury and Betty Smn were chosen as cheerleaders The class was well represented nn the various clubs paper staff band and chorus The play Creeping Shadows was presented by the class on Aprxl 1 1949 under the dlrectlon of Mr Rodman The following were representatives on the student council Violet Khoury Stanley Lehr Evelyn Laumbattus and Ralph Schuckedanz As guests at the banquet prom nn the gym the Semors danced to the music of Leo Matyszk for the second year and had a very good tnme And so w1th much regret the class ended 1ts four wonderful years by march mg down the famxluar alsles and receiving their freedom 17 ll II . . . . . - - - . . . 1 , . . 2 -- ' - -- D - - , . 1 1 1 1 . 2 -- A, - -- D - -.. . . . 1 1 1 1 ' 1 1 , . 4 1 1 1 . . . . . . . 1 . . . .
