Home-ec cottage was moved to a new location on the southeast side of the high school. ln addition to moving, the department added a new class called world foods. The students cooked and studied foods from foreign lands. They had the help of a new microwave to make cooking faster and easier. At Christmas time, as a practical test, the world foods' class prepared Mexican goodies Home Ecu- oved To ew Location for the teachers. Due to new school construction, art was moved to the old weight-lifting room. Mrs. Anne Jones Iivened things up by assigning art ll the project of A-rt ' e painting the wall. Each student was given a square ' and asked to use his imagination. The results EX were wild! Students attended a watercolor clinic in February at Northeast Oklahoma State at Mi- Of ami. Among them were, shorthand, typing I and ll, accounting, basic busi- ness, and clerical practice. All of these classes were led by the business instructor, Mrs. Mary Fussell. These classes were designed to aid the students as they at- tempted to enter the business world. Several different busi- ness concepts were introduced in many different ways.
