Down The Road Cf Creativity This year's art classes were taught under the supervision of Mrs. Annie jones. This was her third year as a teacher at Mar- ionville High School. The art I, Il, and III cl.asses attended The National Festival of Craftsmen at Silver Dollar City. While half of art II and III went on house tours in Springfield, the other half attended a lec- ture on sculpturing at Southwest Baptist College in Bolivar . sg Diane Peiter takes special effort in completing her art I1 lettering assignment. Health - An Important Subject fi f 5 Q . ft Susan Alley instructed her class on types of mental ill- ness and how they are treated. Aaron Young and jimmy Walker.help Mr. Rader set up the projector for a film. Darrell Reeves, jerry Edgar, Deryck Maples and Monica Dean study for a quiz. 'D' Health classes were taught by Miss Susan Alley and Mr. Randy Rader. They used many aids such as filmstrips, current events and outside speakers to stress the importance of health education to their students . The instructors of the course also used lectures and general discussions to add further interest to the course. Representatives from the Red Cross came to the classes and taught a short unit on Coronary Pulmonary Resuscitation, QCPRJ. Illustrations and demonstrations were given in the course. The course taught the students how to react in an emergency situation. jonette Kasinger and Julia Chilcutt answer questions on the circulatory system of the human body. Monty jones writes a composition on the various health fields to explore .
