It has ex- panded to include other related topics, such as growth and development of children, human relations, buying for the home and family, goods and nutrition, clothing selec- tion and construction, interior decoration, and budgeting. Creativity is stressed in the sewing classes. Students can create the effect wanted by designing their own styles through the basic patterns, colors, shapes and lines. Home economics is now taught in a more scientific way. The course prepares the girls to be a better woman, wife, and mother. F.H.A.
