The music Department has chosen as its motto 'With Music We Live . In the spring, variousmusic groups participate in the Southwest Missouri State Music Contest. All of those receiving a l rating in the sub-district and district contest are then eligible to go on to Columbia. The clarinet trio is composed of Lindy Stumpf, Linda Ray, Sherrie Smart, Judy Kissee, Carol Michel, Rudy Johnson, and Phyllis Thomas. Betty Schaefer, Mary Jane Rollins, Garilyn Haacker.
