Empty rooms, strange faces, home¬ sickness, soon change to fun and friendly gatherings. The Freshman is swept into the whirl of college life —Frosh initiation, club meetings, and trying to study. As the Sopho¬ more year begins, goals have been set as that Freshman has realized, No one of my fellows can do that special work for me which I have come into the world to do: he may do a higher work, a greater work, but he cannot do my work.” The determination to fulfill these goals increases during the steady climb from Sophomore, Junior, to Senior year. The grand march to the plat¬ form as the shaking hand takes the diploma brings a glad smile of sat¬ isfaction. Yet, at the end of these four years, you feel somewhat sad and wish you had stayed longer, studied harder, played oftener, and learned more. The Reason for All This?
