RESIDENT’S Message... Marion College is coming to the close of a very splendid year. Our problems have been many but there has been an over¬ shadowing Divine Presence which has directed in our solutions. For many, the situation looks dark and foreboding. The defense program with its draft of young men is a reality. All out war is a possibility. Nevertheless, Marion College purposes to face the future with confidence in the One who said, Lo, I am with you alway.” The campaign for Williams Flail is moving steadily forward. It is our purpose to get ready for the earliest possible moment when actual construction may be started. Marion College is a training center in the warfare against the forces of unrighteous¬ ness. We endeavor under God to be the most efficient center for Christian youth it is possible for us to become. Page twelve
