TRAINING l , S l Senior and Junior R.O.T.C. The classroom instruction, the work on the drill field and parade ground, emphasize knowledge, discipline, leadership, and physical fitness. Only a handful of military junior colleges in the country offer both junior and senior Army Reserve Officer Training Programs. At Marion Institute both of these programs exist, and when completed with all requirements, enable the student to receive a com- mission in the Regular Army or Army Reserve upon his graduation from the Junior College. This development of personal qualities of leader- ship, character, self-discipline, physical fitness, all of which are emphasized in the ROTC program here-is of maximum benefit and value to any student in whatever career he may select to follow. 5
