As another year draws to a close at Marion Institute, we are thankful for many things. We are thankful that, in a year of national turmoil, our school remained peaceful. We are thankful for the chance to obtain an education and for parents Who provided the guidance preceeding this education. We are thankful for a school like Marion Institute, where a boy can take giant steps toward becoming a man. Finally, We are thankful for the opportunity to live in the United States, where we have unlimited chances for success and happiness. The staff of the 1970 ORANGE and BLACK hopes that this year has been a successful one for each of you, and that this book will help to preserve some of the friendships and memories that have been made at Marion Institute.
