The 1958-1959 Honor Council of Marion Military lnstitute is unique in the history of this schoolf unique in thot 1958-1959 is the year that marks The beginning of The Honor System here. We know that Those cadets who are the Honor Council have accepted full responsibility for the proper operation of The Honor System in a manner that Well befits The spirit underlying The words of The Honor Code: I will not lie, I will not cheat, I will not steal. Naturally, The cadets Themselves must be responsible for the success of The Honor System aT Marion Military Institute by Taking The proper attitude Toward it and by supporting it truly. Beyond all question, it is no simple, easy task that the Honor Council has to perform, nor is it by any means pleasant to have to render a decision in cases of violation of the Honor Code. But vve must say that The 1958-1959 Honor Council has made tremendous progress for the school and we com- mend these men for having used their time, their efforts, and their integrity to uphold the school through Truth, Honor, and Service. aww .HaraIson, President Wright, S., Vice-President Cunningham, J.
