1970 — 71 Each year the Yearbook Staff dedicates the yearbook to a deserving member of the high school faculty or administration. The person we chose this year, starts her day here at school earlier than any of us and then ends her day after many of us. This woman comes in contact with every student and administrator at one time or another during the school year. She is the person who keeps rec- ords of all our achievements, grades, and failures; she adds and takes away names for detention, she keeps budget books for our organizations; in fact, she constantly contributes to the betterment of all students and faculty, and thus, puts herself second to her work. Not only has she spent many of her hours at Marion High School, but she has been a secretary or bookkeeper all her life. Her business occupation started after she graduated from Fairbury Nebraska Business College. She has been very active in other areas of her life and through- out these years has always been interested in her family and friends. Because of your fairness and honesty, and your concern for each and every one of us, it gives us great pleasure to dedicate to you, Mrs. Jessie Muck, this 1970-71 MARION WARRIOR! 2
