Smashing Success! A cast of over sixty-five enthusias- tic music students under the direction of vocal music instructor, Mr. Kenneth Forsyth, entertained capacity crowds for their portrayal of the Broadway hit My Fair Lady on November 1 and 2. The musical comedy tells the en- chanting story of the transformation of Eliza Doolittle, a common flower girl into a real laydee, much to the an- guish of her father Alfred P. Doolittle, and much to the delight of her teacher, Professor Henry Higgins, the man she loves. After many lessons and trials, Eliza finally masters the new speech and she is ultimately passed off as a dutchess at the Embassy Ball. Many hours of practice plus the co- operation of the fine choruses and danc- ers helped to provide the atmosphere for the successful performances of My Fair Lady, which the cast as well as the community enjoyed.
