The well-known wearers of these jackets carried out several activities this past year such as selling concessions at the Regional tournaments, re-organizing their constitution and buying a CVL Championship banner for the hall. The German Club of Marion High School had another active and successful year as one of the newest organ- izations in the school. One of the club's activities was their annual German trip to Wichita. This year, the members enjoyed a concert by the Wichita Youth Symphony and a German meal at the famous Reinlaunder Restaurant of Wichita. Later in the year the German Club's older members took examinations in Wichita. After the tests, they saw the movie, The Graduate. Perhaps the most unique event for the club was their German Party, where they all learned to dance the Polka. At this party, the Famous Marajuana Trash made their second fabulous appearance. 28
