Because of the addition of the new library this year, the Librar- ians, under the direction of Mrs. Steinel, have played an important part in helping the students and pointing out the newly located books. Along with their duties in the library, the librarians sold brownies during several lunch hours as a money-making project. They also ran several concession stands as various athletic events. At the end of the year, the librarians took a trip and visited all the League high school libraries—Herington, Centre, Peabody, Hillsboro--and McPherson's high school library. The trip was con- cluded by attending a movie, The Bible, in Newton. MRS. STEINEL Librarian THIS PAGE SPONSORED BV HOLIDAY HOUSE and NEWSOM'S GREENHOUSE 22
