Homecoming The cold night of October 27 brought the excitement of the 67-68 Football Home- coming festivities. To the music of the Homecoming theme, Stranger on the Shore, the anxious crowd greeted the three excited candidates--Teresa Seifert, Mich- elle Hett, and Darlene Pecinovsky with warm enthusiasm. Miss Jackie Thomas, the 66-67 Homecoming Queen, was present to crown her successor, Miss Darlene Pecinov- sky. After the thrilling victory over Pea- body, Queen Darlene and her attendants were escorted to the Homecoming dance decorated in ocean colors. The music by The Sound of Time completed the success of a memorable evening. 15

Queen Of Courts I The annual Queen of Courts ceremony was held on the evening of February 9, 1968, during the half time of the exciting game between the Warriors and the Herington Railers. As half time neared, three excit- ed candidates--Michelle Hett, Teresa Seifert, and Kaye Applegate—waited anx- iously for the moment when the new 67-68 Queen of Courts would be revealed by the 66-67 Queen of Courts, Miss Janet Varen- horst. By the popular vote of the student body, Miss Kaye Applegate was chosen for the royal title. Queen Kaye and her atten- dants reigned over the dance held after the Warrior victory, which was decorated to the theme, Love is a Many Splendor Thing. Congratulations to these three girls.
