DEDICA TION. .. . . .To A Well-Deserving Faculty Member Each year the Warrior is dedicated to some person that the Annual Staff feels worthy of the honor. After much discussion and consideration, the Annual Staff has chosen a beloved faculty member. Mr. Conrad Steinel was graduated from Bethany College and received his Masters Degree from Wichita University. He taught for two years at Gaylord and nine years at Cawker City before coming to Marion in 1962. Mr. Steinel teaches both the Beginners' Band and the Junior High Band in the Marion Elementary. He is the conductor for the Marion High School concert band as well as the instructor of the marching band. Also many hours of hard work are spent by Mr. Steinel in preparing both the Pep Band and Dance Band for performances. Mr. Steinel not only spends school hours helping students, but he gives many private les- sons to squeaking clarinetists and sharp trumpeters. Mr. Conrad Steinel is know to every one at Marion High School. To him, for his friendliness, his warm personality, his never-ending patience, and his ceaseless efforts for us all, we proudly dedicate the 1966 Warrior. 4
