FOREWORD We have tried to capture the spirit of one year in this book. More than layouts, scripts, or prize photography, our annual must represent a variety of individuals. Individuals who are forming ideas and attitudes to base their lives on; as well as receiving knowledge and attaining maturity. We hope that we have recreated in each of your minds, some of the friendships, decisions, memorable activities, and even disappointments, which have particular meaning to you. Our 1965 MARION WARRIOR, is successful only if we produce for you--now and in the future the memories that represent your life at MHS.

The Annual Staff chooses one person to dedicate their Annual to each year. Usually this person is a teacher or principal. We feel this person must also be active in civic affairs. The person we have chosen this year comes into contact with every individual in school, students and admin- istrators. To this person, the halls of Marion High are indeed familiar. As most of our days end at 3:40, his just begin. He does not get Saturday to rest either. He finds time to do any number of things, such as: fix a door knob, change burnt-out lights, set up risers, or help you put up campaign posters. He is a friend to the students and does his work cheer- fully. We would like to thank you for all the many years of service and time which you have given to our school. We dedicate to you, MR .
