These students form the governing body of the high school. Matters pertaining to the government of the school are brought before the Student Council where they are discussed and voted upon. This year's Student Council had a very successful year under the capable di- rection and guidance of Mr. Glen Wood. 28

DIRECTOR The Marion Chapter of the Na- tional Thespian Society was very busy in 1964. They participated in plays, direction, costuming, and make-up. Members of the society have acquired 10 points by participation in dramatic events. In addition to the new members, two honor Thespians are announced. This year Chris Hauser and Mary Konarik received these awards. MISS ERMA WYMORE
