Gone forever will be the routine of school life, the fun we had, and the friends we made. It is the hope of the 1956 Warrior Staff that, as you glance through this book in the years to come, you will recapture those moments --and the echoes will begin again. We, the class of 1956, wish to dedicate our annual to the people who have helped and guided us most during our high school education. By dedicating our 1956 Warrior to our parents, we hope to show part of our deep appreciation and love to them. L7 M- w Xfxxfy' WV' ja! THE v. l.6P.'S OF M. H. s. 'e., .,, , f x Four years ago, sixty - . very green freshmen took their , first step toward higher education. We were a big class in number, and we ' N15 A ' filvfvtf--he 1 ff- ' definitely expected to do bigger and better things. Under the able sponsorship of Mrs. Frances Stephens, our float, Candy- land, won third place in the Old Settler's Day Parade. When we became wise fools QSophomoresj, our greatest achievement was to set a record in magazine sales. Our total sales amounted to S1,Z27. 60, and our profit was 5418. 08. This record has never been equalled. V The highlights of our junior year were our junior play and the Junior- Senior Banquet. Under the excellent direction of Mrs. Reed, our production, No More Homework was a smash hit! Lead by Mr. Frickey and Miss Kirk, we honored the seniors on May 6, by taking them on an excursion deep into Neptune's Court. Now we are looking forward to the most promising years. We, as seniors, feel we have accomplished the bigger and better ideals we set for our goals. Our Senior Class of '56 has been noted for the ambitious attitude we have displayed in all things we do. Our attitude comes from the belief that If we H rest, we rust.
