They have spent many study periods, afternoons, and nights trying to type copy and identify- ing pictures. Many changes were made from the original lay-out but when the final proof Was read they began to hope their efforts had not been in vain. They hope that you, their fel- low classmates and the students, like the '53 Swamp Fox.

The statt is composed of the new lournalism Class under the supervision ot Mrs. Betty lane Strickland. Under this plan the paper is issued every two weeks. ln each issue there are miscellaneous news items, a sports page, feature, book review, and editorial.
