The first event of the year was the candle- light initiation ceremony for new members. Whenever possible, after-school tournaments were held. In the social field the organization sponsored its usual two big dances ofthe year. In November the annual Sadie Hawkins dance was held in the gym, complete with corn stalks, pumpkins and bobbing for apples to add the rustic touch. Ronnie Landis was chosen as the most eligible bachelor at this event. On March A the gala Big Ten Ball was held at Armar ballroom. Here the main attraction was the presentation of the honored big ten, who are representative good citizens of Marion High. Although the new system this year necessitated the formation of a new point system, the year closed with the customary presentation of numerals, letters, and state pins C A -X Officers time-da Ncsetxil iPo1nt Chairmany Belxa Lenz iSoc1al Chaumani PII cilla Tanner tP1es1dent.i Peggx Ozbuln iV1ce Pxesxdenti ' ,- Y , . .'
