Advice is usually as free as the air which we breathe, and often as little attention is given to the one as to the other. Perhaps the few words I may say will not tend toward the setting either of a goal or an ideal. Ir is merely by way of reflection that I make a statement. Among the products of four years of as- sociation in the same school each student has developed a personality and character of his own. He has been filled with the spirit of humility, appreciation, kindness, intelligence, and courtesy-a gentleman. Down the great pathway of life he will walk or stumble according to the degree of de- velopment of the above. I hope that each member of the class of 1936 may enjoy the fullest measure of life, but only after having paid the reasonable price. x g l ff, 'A lc 07 Life is a leaf of paper white Whereon each one of us may write His word or two, and then comes night. Greatly begin! though thou have time But for a line, he that sublime- Not failure, but low aim, is crime. -Lowell 3 We hope your school has inspired you to aim high and that the line which you write will be truly sublime. Your friend, I L L Page
