i i 1 i l I Four xeawaaewdseewaem-Ssaewaevirxfeae Foreword IN the presentation of the twelfth volume of The Quill , we, the class of 1929, feel that a great privilege has been ours. We deem it such since the school year of nine- teen hundred and twenty-eight and nineteen hun- dred and twenty-nine marks a new era in the scholastic history of Marion High. With the installation of Delta,Sigma Delta Chapter of the National Honorary Society for High Schools, we have taken that for which it stands as our goal of effort in the preparation of ff---K, this volume. We trust that The Quill will give evidence of Scholarship linked with Charac- ter striving to give Service as it wings its way into the future. Il tal-1' s ami I f .
