School Boaro' The 1977-78 School Board Members are Cseatedj James,H. Carter, Ben McGee, James Feather- Ston, Qstandingj Harry East, Cy Bond Jr. and James Johnston. I Superinfeno'en7L's Message As I thought about this message, I was reminded that someone long ago said: Blessed are they who have nothing to say and who cannot be persuaded to say it. The substance of this statement is that when something is expressed for further considera- tion, it should be with identifiable accuracy. In keeping with this thought, I am compelled to say that I am proud to be associated with the Marion Senior High School student body. I continue to be pleased with the productivity of the Annual Staff. The quality of the publication appears to be improv- ing each year. I conclude that the truth of these statements is self-evident. I express the best wishes for continued success for the high school annual staff. James H. Carter Superintendent xx .,.. .,. 424'
