AT LAST SEPTEMBER ROLLED AROUND AND IT WAS TIME FOR US, THE CLASS OF 1966, TO BEGIN OUR FINAL YEAR IN HIGH SCHOOL. BEAMING WITH CURIOSITY THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, THE STUDENTS GOT OFF THE BUSSES AND HURRIED TO SEE THE INTERIOR OF THE NEW BUILDING. WITHOUT HESITATION, THE STUDENTS MADE USE OF THE LOUNGE AREAS 'x AND THEN BEGAN ROAMING DOWN THE HALLS ' SEARCHING FOR THEIR LOCKERS. ,,.: Q,- , :IJ ..,: ., a .Ik 3 V. I I EVEN THOUGH THE BUILDING WAS NOT FINISHED WHEN SCHOOL BEGAN WE ANTICIPATED A GOOD YEAR. WITHIN A SHORT TIME WE FOUND OUR PLACES IN CLEAN, MODERN EQUIPPED CLASSROOMS. ALTHOUGH THERE WERE SEVERAL WINGS NOT COMPLETED, DURING AMERICAN EDUCATION WEEK THE PUBLIC WAS INVITED TO SHARE IN SEEING THE NEW SCHOOL IN OPERATION. THE NEXT PICTURES DEPICT THE INTEREST SHOWN BY THE PUBLIC ATTENDING OPEN HOUSE. .K I I ki , X f-sw mv 4 NM I WORK IS STILL BEING DONE ON THE BAND AND CHOIR ROOMS AND IN A FEW PARTS OF THE BUILDING AS THIS HMEMORY KIT' GOES TO PRESS. AS MEMBERS OF THE FIRST GRADUATING CLASS FROM THIS NEW SCHOOL, WE FEEL THAT IT IS A PRIVILEGE TO HAVE BEEN A SENIOR IN THIS NEW BUILDING WITH A NEW CURRICULUM. I0 ,, , , Y BARI LYNN CLARK EDITOR
