SENIOR CLASS HISTORY As we Seniors leave our LIFE at Morion High we look back at all the fun we have had since we were green freshmen. Let's see what Senior LIFE really was. This year we chose as our class officers: President, Lonnie Priest; Vice-President, Robert1 Lee Guill, and Secretary-Treasurer, Marsha Hearn. Our sponsors were Mrs. Alice Mann and Mr. Ivan Swan. During our four years of school our representatives on the Student Council were Romelle Harris, Sallie Tiller, Gordon Lambert, Robert Greenwood, David Hoover, and Bill Bradley. Those who held Student Council offices their Senior year were: President, Romelle Harris,- Vice-President, Robert Greenwood; Com- missioner of Finance, Sallie Tiller; and Commissionerof Entertainment, David Hoover. The members of the Student Staff this year were Sandra Fries, Romelle Harris, Sallie Tiller, Judith Duncan, Jo Ann Turnbaugh, Carol Ann Sandner, Sue Broderick, and Shirley Colp. Betty Booth, Sallie Tiller, Romelle Harris, Sidney Rodd, Gordon Lambert, Jack Tanner, LeRoy Ander- son, David Hoover and Carol Gerwig were the Senior members of the annual staff. Sallie Tiller was the editor of the Memory Kit. Those in the memorable senior play Mother Is A Freshman were: Sidney Rodd, Betty Booth, Shir- ley Colp, Romelle Harris, Guyla Cochennour, Sandra Fries, Carole Cluesmann, Marsha Hearn, Loretta Norton, Robbie Greenwood, Lonnie Priest, Roger Chitty, Robert Guill, Frankie Hampton, and Paul Smith— LIFE had its lighter side too. The members of our class who were presented with Rotary Awards during their four years were Ro- melle Harris, Sallie Tiller, LeRoy Anderson, Betty Booth, Gracemary Graham, Robert Greenwood, David Hoover, Gordon Lambert, Lyda Pickett, Sidney Rodd, Sandra Fries, Jacquelyn Kaeser, Dianne Stanley, Sue Broderick, and Marsha Hearn—A more serious side of LIFE. At Homecoming Romelle Harris was attendant to the queen. Larry Grove, Charles Arnold, LeRoy Anderson, Jack Tanner, and Gordon Lambert were escorts. Gordon, as football captain, crowned the queen. Larry Grove, Gordon Lambert, Jack Tanner, LeRoy Anderson, Charles Arnold, Jerry Grace, Tom Blake, and Dale Boner represented Senior LIFE on the gridiron. Our members of the basketball squad were Gordon Lambert, Jack Tanner, LeRoy Anderson, James Spiller, and Larry Grove. Charles Arnold, LeRoy Anderson, Gordon Lambert, Jack Tanner, and Larry Grove were senior mem- bers of the baseball team. The Seniors supporting the Wildcat's track squad were LeRoy Anderson, Ronald Weber, Larry Grove, and Gordon Lambert. Charlotte Cox led the cheering section through the year. High School LIFE filled with happiness and unforgettable experiences which will remain in our mem- ory must close, but a new phase lies ahead.
