The America of tomorrow will depend in large measure up- on the thinking and the planning of this generation. The parents of the boys and girls who are graduating from the high schools of America have been willing and often glad to make sacrifices in order that their children might enjoy the advantages of an educa- tion which they themselves did not possess. In reality, it goes much deeper than this. The parents of this land realize and appreciate the fact that the world of tomorrow must be operated by the youth of today and these same parents are appreciative of the fact that the better training and the better education which the youth of today have, the better the next generation should be able to see that the world, at least, stays in existence. A wise Heavenly Father created the world but man could destroy it. Let us hope that such a thing will never come about but to make an appraisal of the situation today, it seems to us that the only way in which this can be prevented is by adhering more strictly to the policies and the plans laid down by that same Creator. That task for the next generation, will rest solely upon the shoulders and in the minds of the youth of today. Your four years in Marion High School should be of tremen- dous help to you as you look toward and prepare for the future. Here’s hoping that you determine now to get still more education in the years to come. Marion, Kentucky Member Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation CHIPPS BROS. IMPLEMENT CO.
