Tackling the need for school facilities, the Council purchased towel racks for the rest rooms, and a permanent filing cabinet for Student Council documents. These achievements, together with the excellent work of the newly created Lower House, were the fruits of a highly suc- cessful year. The members must have shown themselves to be of outstanding character, leadership, and achievement. The wheel is often connected with Beta ideals. The hub represents character, and the spokes, scholarship, helpfulness, school spirit, patriotism, and leadership. All of these qualities are bound together by the rim of service. Among projects sponsored by the club are annual dance, the sale of Mudders, and a talent show. Members of the Beta Club are always promoting the ideals of honesty, service, and leadership, and also encouraging students to continue their education beyond high school.
