Mr. Charles C. Elledge is serving his eleventh year as principal of Marion High School. In addition to being an ad- ministrator, he is a writer, having pub- lished some plays and poetry as well as articles for professional journals. He spends his summers in Boone where he is associate director and actor in the outdoor drama, Horn in the West. He is also in demand as a speaker when the duties of his school position allow him any free time. Last year he appeared in the motion picture, Thunder Road. He is a state director for the Beta Club. In almost a quarter of a century of teaching and directing students, he must have known over five thousand of them. His greatest joy is in helping young people go on to Vgeta higher education and become leaders in their communities. iv' 'VPU' 1--ull! While they are at their lockers is a good chance to catch a glimpse of them. Here you will learn how hard the test was, who got elected, and many other things about school life.
