Sl'l'l'l'ft1l'-1' llAROl.lJ Mixsx Tl't'!l.SIll'!'l' unior Class Histor XVQ entered our lireshman year 165 strong, setting ll record for enrollment in the Ifreshman Class. We c.1n't say what the teachers thought of us, but we were determined to conquer or be conquered. As Sophomores we found our place in the wheels of the High School activities. W'e were faced with new responsibilities in the band, different clubs and on the football and basketball teams. When we reached our Junior year we became more active than ever before. We were confronted with the problem of entertaining the Senior Class of 1950 with a banquet of our own planning. We juniors, like the Seniors, also have our share of honor students, star athletes, and all around good sports. As our leaders through this crucial year we chose jimmy Ellis as our presidentg Laura Keeter, vice-presidentg Ruth Poole. secretaryg and Harold Mask, treasurer. XVe are all proud of our exceptionally fine class, and we hope that We can be a credit to our school in the years to come.
